Discovering Yoga as my Path

Updated: Dec 14, 2021

My Yoga journey began in 2011, my soul was screaming for a change, for a way to show my purpose on Earth, at that moment I didn't know where I was heading to, I was trying to discover myself, trying to find my way home, tired of pretending to be someone that I wasn't just to fit in society... My desire was so real and I was ready for a change, so all the helpers came in forms of friends, guides, spiritual teachings, etc.

So one day, I found myself in a training with Yoga Gangsters (now Connection Coalition), a beautiful institution that brings free Yoga to youth in crisis, so I met my teacher there, and without thinking it too much, I was registered for a 200 hour Vinyasa Teacher Training. From that moment,I knew this was my path, I started discovering my talents, my strengths and my weaknesses, and I started to accept and love myself in a honest way.

Many Yoga Teachers came after, all of them amazing and unique, and I am who I am today because of them, I did a 200 hour Raja Dhiraja Teacher Training at the Himalayan Yoga Institute in India, 300 hour Hatha Yoga Teacher Training, a 30 hour Mentorship Program about intuitive movement, and I have done a lot of workshops and trainings about Yin and Restorative Yoga, Kids Yoga, adjustments, to name a few... And now that I am a certified RYT 500 Yoga Instructor, my teachings have evolved in a more unique and personalized way.

It's been sweet and sour, I have met my shadows and my light, and I have evolved in a way that I never expected. I know I have a lot to learn yet and that's the beauty of this life, that I will never stop learning and that the more I learn about myself, the more I can help my students to learn more about themselves.
